Eden Again

Eden Again

I once sought this primeval paradise,
Much like a salmon spawned eons ago.
The rugged path, the trek, were but the price,
Alas, to know what I thought I must know.
Midst lush and splendid forest, EverGreen,
Lies this world's purest waters, River Nigh,
And men who quench thirst here such wisdom glean,
They e'er maintain their youth and cannot die.
'Tis said, thereon its banks rare blossoms bloom,
From fair to dark, beauty beyond belief!
That there, is here, no sickness, gloom or doom,
A place of blissful peace, absent all grief.
Where all God's creatures frolic, play and coo,
In this world without woe, one can but woo.
