Judging the "Justice"
Self-righteously and forcibly, he spoke,
Like a great actor in his greatest play.
He said he had been wronged to passion stoke,
And seized on the divisions of our day.
O'er frank detractors, he did rail
and lord.
His role was not to be confessional;
Still he bore no ill-will toward
Dr. Ford,
Save to suggest she was delusional.
For she had spoken calmly under
oath.
She said he tried to rape her as a teen.
There was no way one could believe
them both,
Perhaps a polygraph could some truth glean.
Ere 'God and Country'
he swore, 'Innocent,'
But would not to a polygraph consent!
